I make focused software.
I'm Tristan, an indie app developer who enjoys taking products from a rough idea to something people can actually use.
Built from idea to release.
I've spent 13+ years designing, building, shipping, and maintaining apps. Most of my work sits in the Apple ecosystem, but the product thinking travels well across platforms.
I care about clear flows, strong visual systems, sensible performance, and software that respects the person using it. Small details matter because they are often the difference between software that merely works and software that feels right.

How I approach the work.
- 01
Start with the useful part
Find the clearest path through the product before adding more surface area.
- 02
Build the whole experience
Design, engineering, copy, performance, and support all shape how an app feels.
- 03
Polish what earns it
Attention to detail should make the product easier and more enjoyable, not noisier.
Tools I work with.
Native when it matters, pragmatic when it helps.
- Native iOSSwift and SwiftUI
- Native AndroidKotlin and Compose
- WebReact, Next.js, Vite and JavaScript
- FirebaseAuthentication, data, storage, and shipping
- FlutterCross-platform app development
- GamesUnity commercially, Godot for experimentation
Current side quest: learning Godot by making small things move.
